Issues

I grew up here, and John and I chose  to raise our children here because a working family like ours could have a great quality of life.

We need to keep our community growing  and attract good-paying jobs. I've cut the tax levy three straight times, and have worked to make our county more transparent by launching a new website to make incarceration data more publicly available.

I've fought to make sure our roads and bridges are open and well-maintained. I have supported adding sheriff's deputies and made sure our first responders have the resources they need to keep us safe.

I have voted to expand  programs such as the Veteran’s Court, that helps our veterans get the treatment they need and get back on their feet.  

Public safety means taking care of those in our community. I've pushed for more funding for mental health services to get people the resources they need.
